At the end of 2024, I won a test drive in a Formula Vee after receiving the Best and Fairest award at a junior sprint karting event. It was my first time driving a race car, which made the experience both exciting and challenging. I had to learn how to use a clutch, shift gears, and adapt to the completely different feel of a manual car compared to a kart. Despite the steep learning curve, the test went well and gave me confidence. The experience showed me that progressing into cars was the right next step for my racing career.
